MTE 646 - Teaching Health and Physical Education in the Elementary School

A course designed to help prospective teachers acquire the skills necessary to design and implement effective instructional programs in elementary school health and physical education. The student examines the areas of motor learning, motor development, teaching strategies, curriculum design, assessment and integration. Second semester. Offered alternate years.
