CSG 832 - Domestic Violence and Abuse in Family Counseling

A course that explores the problem of domestic violence and abuse, and its effects on families.  Therapeutic approaches from a biblical perspective for victims, perpetrators, and their families are explored, as well as the dynamics of abusive relationships and strategies for treating them.  It
also emphasizes strategies for developing and providing personal, spiritual, family, church, and community resources and support to individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and/or abuse.
