HIS 352 - Medieval Europe


A course examining the history of medieval Europe from the fall of the Roman Empire in the 5th Century until the rise of modern Europe in the 16th Century. Political, economic, social, cultural, religious, and military developments are included. Particular attention is paid to the development of the Church, the importance of feudalism, and the emergence of stronger monarchical governments. Either semester.
