SPE 483 - Behavioral and Instructional Models for Autism Intervention


A course designed to explore a variety of evidence-based behavioral and instructional intervention models and approaches for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disabilities. Topics include discrete trials, incidental teaching, prompting strategies, token economy, and others. The procedures of treatment plans, progress, and evaluation are introduced. First semester.
