EDU 445 - Technology Trends in the Twenty-first Century Classroom


A course designed to explore philosophical and ethical issues related to technology in our world and the impact technology has in the 21st century classroom. Students look at the developmental impact of increased technology use and discuss how technology can be used appropriately to deepen and enrich the student learning experience. Twenty-first century learning skills are introduced, researched, and analyzed throughout the course. Emphasis is placed on using a biblical worldview to assess the relative advantage of using technology tools in the classroom, as well as strategic planning in regards to effective technology integration. Summer session.
