ART 224 - Art History II

A survey of visual culture from 15th century through Contemporary Art. This course is designed as an introduction to basic components and terminology of art history, and to methods of analyzing and interpreting individual works of art. Emphasis is placed upon historical and cultural contexts leading to a mulit-cultured contemporary art world. Either semester.
