EDU 655 - Curricular Assessment and Adaptations


A course designed to explore the role of assessment in maintaining whole school curricular alignment through specified learning outcomes, with a focus on the classroom level. Assessment as learning is examined as it informs the environment, the curriculum, instruction, and management in a differentiated classroom. Changing trends in curricular design, standardized testing, marking and grading, differentiated practice, and assessment-based decision making are investigated and applied. Either semester.
