EDL 785 - Educational Leadership Internship II

An internship course (90 hours required) which expands the principal intern’s leadership praxis through the design, implementation, and documentation of an action research project specifically targeted to improve student learning in a chosen school environment. Action research activities and personal leadership growth are documented through an ongoing internship log and the action research project, in which interns identify a school issue, research potential solutions, create an action plan, carry out an intervention, assess the success of the intervention, and make recommendations for the future. Both semesters.
