EDL 784 - Educational Leadership Internship I

A yearlong internship 270 hours required) which provides opportunities to enhance and expand the student’s emerging leadership praxis. Interns document their experiences and emerging mastery of competencies through a variety of artifacts performance-based projects, which align with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) field placement competencies and core and corollary program standards. The internship must be completed under the supervision and guidance of a state certified administrator (certification may be issued by any of the 50 states or a comparable governmental equivalent (e.g. Canadian provincial administrator’s certificate)). Both semesters and summer session.

Prerequisites & Notes
Enrollment limited to MSELA Principal Certification candidates. Permission of the dean required. Current clearances required.
