HIS 358 - England form Arthur to Magna Carta


An exploration of the history of England from the fall of Roman Britain to the establishment of Magna Carta. The course examines early figures like St. Patrick and Arthur, the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms and kings such as Alfred, the Norman conquest, and the early English constitutionalism that laid the foundations of Anglo-American republicanism. Either semester.
