EDU 480 - Teaching in the Secondary School


A methods course for Secondary English, math, and social studies education majors designed to prepare them to create developmentally appropriate lessons and units of study for middle and high school level learners. Special attention is given to backward design, Biblical worldview thinking, technology integration, developmentally appropriate methodology, subject specific methodology, and management of the secondary classroom. First semester.

Prerequisites & Notes
EDU 212, SPE 211, & PSY 322 (PSY 322 may be taken concurrently). Must be fully accepted into a certification program.
