BNS 202 - Accounting


An introduction to financial accounting and its application in preparing and analyzing financial statements. It covers fundamental accounting processes and systems, from analyzing business transactions to creating financial statements in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The course progresses through the accounting cycle of a merchandising business, with a focus on advanced accounting practices and their affects on assets, liabilities, and equity. First semester.
