EDU 489 - Teaching Secondary Biology

A methods course designed to develop approaches and methodology for teaching biology at the secondary level. Exploration of the different content areas related to biology is emphasized. Curriculum development, instructional methods, assessment techniques, and classroom management strategies for secondary biology education are examined and developed. Emphasis is placed on practical approaches to teaching biology in classroom and laboratory settings. Second semester.
