Return to: Majors & Programs
Built on a strong Bible curriculum, this program prepares students to minister effectively in cross-cultural contexts within the United States and around the world. Development of the inter-cultural competencies necessary to build relationships with people from different cultural and ethnic backgrounds is emphasized. Students are prepared to adjust to life and ministry in a different culture, to work in teams, to minister creatively, to proclaim Christ in culturally appropriate ways, to nurture godly disciples, to develop national leaders, and to establish local churches. Students who wish to focus on Jewish Missions may take their first year in PBU’s Institute of Jewish Studies. Upon successful completion of the program, the student earns a B.S. in Bible degree.
