Upon completion of this program, a student receives a Master of Science in Special Education degree. This course sequence has been verified to meet the coursework requirements for eligibility to take the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Exam®. This program also meets most of the PA Behavior Specialist License (BSL) course requirements. Additional criteria, including experience requirements, must be met to qualify for the BCBA Exam or BSL. ABA Practicum courses are available as electives to provide online supervision for experience hours, which can also be met via supervised independent fieldwork. Students are responsible to verify if this program meets the licensing requirements of the state and/or country where they intend to practice.

Students pursuing the BCBA should consider taking ABA Practicum courses (i.e. SPE 891 and SPE 892); Other electives include EDU 745, EDU 746, EDU 747, SPE 661, SPE 664, SPE 761, SPE 763, and SPE 764.
Bible/Theology Courses - Credits: 6
Advance standing may be granted for Bible/Theology credits earned at an accredited Bible college, Christian liberal arts college or university, or seminary. Credits will be granted on a course-by-course basis.
