Upon successful completion of this program, the student receives a BMus degree and is qualified for two teaching certificates, the PK-12 Pennsylvania Instructional I certification for public school teaching and the Standard K-12 ACSI certificate for music education. The program is designed to prepare students to teach music in either Christian or public school. Non-keyboard majors must pass the piano proficiency exam prior to student teaching. The School of Education requirements apply to students in this program.
