This program is only for individuals holding a teaching certificate. Upon completion of this program, a student receives a Master of Science in Special Education degree and is eligible for PA Special Education PK-12 certification if the individual also passes the PA Special Education PK-12 Certification Test and hold or intends to hold US citizenship. The student is also eligible to apply to ACSI for a special education certificate if additional ACSI requirements are met.
This program has a prerequisite of 3 credits or 90 hours on the instructional needs of English Language Learners which must be met prior to program entry. The prerequisite may be met by taking TSL 611 Foundations of Teaching English Learners.

Instruction Specialization Courses - Credits: 28
Bible/Theology Courses - Credits: 6
Advanced standing may be granted for Bible/Theology credits earned at an accredited Bible college, Christian liberal arts college or university, or seminary. Credits will be granted on a course-by-course basis. |
