The goal of this program is to equip students for effective ministry with adolescents and their families in church and para-church settings. The program educates the student concerning the developmental characteristics, cultural influences, and the needs of teenagers. The student is trained to effectively lead a volunteer team and to be a resource for parents of adolescents. Teaching methodologies and youth programming strategies are emphasized. Upon successful completion of this program, the student receives a BS in Youth and Family Ministry degree.
