The program is designed to train competent, professional, knowledgeable, skillful, and biblically-minded teachers to teach English in various contexts in the United States and around the world. Students who complete the TESOL (BA) program are equipped to work with immigrants, refugees, international students, business professionals, and others. Students also have opportunities for missions work through the path of teaching English and are well-versed in intercultural communication. Upon successful completion of this program, the student receives a Bachelor of Arts degree.
