MTE 618 - Teaching English in the Secondary School

A course designed to help prospective English teachers develop appropriate understandings and techniques for the instruction and evaluation of the three major language arts components in the secondary school: reading and literature, composition and grammar, and communication. Students participate in a tutoring experience that enables them to practice the integration of all the language arts components. This lab course meets three hours a week for two credits.
