MCC 643 - Seminar in Gender and Cultural Issues in Counseling

This course explores the impact cultural and gender issues have on the development and expression of personal identity and psychological problems. It is designed to help counseling students develop strategies for understanding and addressing both the cultural and social differences and the gender issues of counselees when making assessments and conducting interventions.
