Upon completion of this program, a student receives an M.S. in Education degree.

Elective courses may be clustered to form a minor concentration or taken in a cross disciplinary configuration to meet individual areas of need.

  • Required of all students who do not have an education degree from a regionally accredited institution and are not entering a certification program.

  • Certification


    Coursework needed for PA or private school teaching certificates will be determined on an individual basis, depending on previous college work in the field of education.

    Certification is availabile in the following areas:

  • Early Childhood N-3
  • Elementary K-6
  • K-12 Health/Physical Education
  • K-12 Music
  • K-12 Bible (ACSI only)
  • Secondary Education:
    • Social Studies/History
    • Mathematics
    • English
    • TESOL

    Bible/Doctrine Courses - Credits: 12


    Select four courses.

    Advance standing may be granted for Bible/Doctrine credits earned at an accredited Bible college, Christian liberal arts college or university, or seminary. Credits will be granted on a course-by-course basis.
